A mix of polished Alternative Rock, Alternative Metal & Hardcore Punk made Den of Wolves one of the most popular bands in the Charlotte area. Den of Wolves was formed after its three members, Tristen, Savo & Khalil, decided to continue writing music following the break-up of their previous band, New Religion. Tristen, Savo & Khalil collaborate together to write high energy, hard driving songs, touching on subjects such as depression, mental and physical abuse, and relationships, but also life, love and growing as an individual. The three band members first met in a small two bedroom apartment and formed a 5 piece band, dubbed “New Religion”. Their sound then had a Pop-Rock edge and band mates and biological brothers, Tristen & Khalil were looking for a heavier sound, and quickly began developing their current unique Metal style. 

Alpha Andromeda

Alpha Andromeda, based in central North Carolina, was founded in 2019. No rules, just riffs is a guiding principle for the group who prioritize their vision over alignment with a specific style. The message, obscured beneath the layers of dark themes and aggressive music is ironically a positive affirmation of fun over existential dread. Alpha Andromeda embodies this message by combining foreboding ambience, intricate rhythms, and face-shredding leads - soaring high during the crest before crashing down into the depths below. Following the 2019 releases of Gaze Into The Void and Junko the band released A Good Rope and a Strong Branch and Ominous Mechanobiology in 2020. The newest single, Submit to the Swarm released in May of 2023. 

 Niceae 

Niceae is a melodic death metal band hailing from Winston-Salem, NC.

Join us at Tap Yard Raleigh for a 'Paint Your Pet' Paint Party! 

Participants will email a photo of their pet, and a canvas will be created for you as a guideline. Step by step, our artist will teach you how to create an amazing pet portrait! Everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece to treasure forever.
